7-201.11: POISONOUS OR TOXIC MATERIALS shall be stored so they can not contaminate FOOD, EQUIPMENT, UTENSILS, LINENS, and SINGLEĀ SERVICE and SINGLE-USE ARTICLES by: (A) Separating the POISONOUS OR TOXIC MATERIALS by spacing or partitioning; and (B) Locating the POISONOUS OR TOXIC MATERIALS in an area that is not above FOOD, EQUIPMENT, UTENSILS, LINENS, and SINGLE-SERVICE or SINGLE-USE ARTICLES. This paragraph does not apply to EQUIPMENT and UTENSIL cleaners and SANITIZERS that are stored in WAREWASHING areas for availability and convenience if the materials are stored to prevent contamination of FOOD, EQUIPMENT, UTENSILS, LINENS, and SINGLE-SERVICE and SINGLE-USE ARTICLES. Observed a container of sanitizer for the knives was stored in one of the holders in the prep cooler where there was a food container partially stored under it. Provide that there is no food items stored below any chemical in case of leakage. Food container below was moved. COS |

Observed one of the seals on the ice cream freezer top to be bulging forward exposing the surface underneath. Replace and maintain by next routine inspection. |

4-101.19: NonFOOD-CONTACT SURFACES of EQUIPMENT that are exposed to splash, spillage, or other FOOD soiling or that require frequent cleaning shall be constructed of a CORROSION-RESISTANT, nonabsorbent, and SMOOTH material. Observed some red duct tape that is being used to cover a spot on the inside of the smaller ice cream freezer to be worn and peeling. Tape should not be used as a material because it can collect food debris and is not easily cleanable. Remove tape, repair area and maintain by next routine inspection. |
